Description

Complexity Science presents opportunities to look at software development and architecture in completely different ways, and the right introduction can change how you look at software forever.

Despite being a buzzword for 10 years, complexity has had little to no impact on software development. It has descended into hand waving, big words, and mysticism, and this makes developers suspicious. Despite the hype, many remain confused about the basic ideas and complexity is just academic gobbledygook.

This talk will offer a new chance to get to grips with what complexity actually means for software developers, and how that translates to actual tools that can be used in real world software projects directly after the talk.
